Family of 3 Receives Much Needed Shoes!

For many months they have been wearing only flip flop slip-on type shoes. One big challenge for them was that the son wore size 16 shoes and it was very hard to find. Size 22 Shoes- A perfect fit!
NEW SHOES (above) A chronically homeless gentleman has been without shoes for years. Wearing torn socks and a plastic bag to cover his feet, he developed a several foot problems. A big challenge for us was finding a pair of shoes that fit. We looked very hard for the terrific pair of shoes. Amongst all our shoes, we found an nearly new pair of size 22 shoes. So Nice to See Our Volunteers at our Shoe Processing Event!
After two years of not being able to get together, it was so nice to see our volunteers on Sunday at our shoe processing event! Shoe processing is an integral part of the process of distributing shoes. We take the shoes out of bags and boxes received from donors, check them for quality, match them in pairs, tie the shoe laces or put a rubber band around them, put them in categories and finally place them into bags of 10 pairs.
