Thank you to everyone who helped make our Shoes for the Homeless, Inc. annual celebration fundraiser a complete success! Held at the Wende Museum of the Cold War on Thursday, March 14, 2019, we honored Dr. James Limbaugh, president of West Los Angeles College, and Ms. Trish Limbaugh, founder of Lost and Found Fibers, West Wardrobe and West Pantry. We were thrilled to have many supporters and dignitaries attend our event. During the presentations we shared many stories about how shoes have provided comfort, protection from the environme
nt, confidence, dignity and prevention of foot problems for the homeless across the United States.
Our event included a wonderful band, a tour of the museum and a great dinner. We also had a terrific online auction with incredible items including a 2 on 2 game with Magic Johnson and Byron Scott! Thank you to Magic Johnson and Byron Scott for helping our efforts!
