Shoes Processing - Need Volunteers!
Hi friends,
Help the Homeless- one step at a time. We need volunteers to help us process shoes for one hour at our next shoe processing event. It will be held on Saturday, December 16, from 2-3 PM. The location is West LA College (Lot 5 next to the Sheriff's station) located at 9000 Overland Avenue in Culver City, CA 90230. Shoe processing is where we sort shoes, put rubber bands around them, put them in groups and place them in bags. Please email us at info@shoesforthehomeles.net for a "release of liability form".
We meet at West L A College in parking “Lot 5”.
Directions from Overland Avenue and Braddock: Go South on Overland, cross Jefferson Blvd., and make a left onto Freshman Drive into West LA College. Lot 5 is on your right! We will have signs posted. A link to the map of West LA College is: www.wlac.edu/transportation/index.aspx.
